Corten steel is known as weathering steel. Corten steel develops a beautiful dark brown colour when it is left untreated and exposed to wet and dry weather conditions over a period of time. It develops a layer of oxidisation which gives its rusty appearance but also provides a protective layer preventing further corrosion.

All of our corten steel is supplied in its unexposed state which resembles a silver colour. This will change over time once it’s exposed to wet and dry conditions to a rusty like appearance. If you a require a different size and thickness not shown on our website please call our sales team.
